Work @ Seoul : Itaewon

Itaewon is a unique place in Seoul where one can meet people of diverse nationalities and cultures. Seoul even designated Itaewon as its first ‘Special Tourism District,’ to highlight it as a destination for internationals to enjoy a diversity of culture, shopping, and entertainment experiences.

We were there on Friday. Patut laa.. Our muslim friends nak ke masjid for friday prayer. Namserk took us, naik mini bus KRX. They are aware that the muslims guys need to perform the prayer. Here one can easily find halal food and halal restaurant. Memang makan kat Korea susah sgt. That's the reason yg Ekin nak buka restoran melayu kat South Korea.

we had our lunch here.. turkish food..

muslim mart.. halal food.. including from m'sia and indonesia..

Couldn't recall the name of the shop. It's just next door to Salam. The lady owner is a Korean, and got married to the middle eastern. Settled down here and run this shop.

Entrance to the masjid. Kena daki bukit skit.

Allahuakhbar.. berbunga rasa di hati nampak sebuah masjid tersergam kukuh dan indah di bumi Korea..

 in the masjid compound..

kebab stall.. tengok je.. nak beli dah kenyang.. besar mak aii..

I was alone, sitting right in front of the masjid.. looking at the people, coming in and going out the masjid. Can see muslims from different countries. Students from  M'sia pun ramai.

Lepas tu turun dan jln2 di deretan kedai.. Tak beli apa pun. Cuci mata aje...

Next : Nami Island
